The Resurrection, He Is Risen and the Folded Napkin
"I Will Rise Again"
They rested on the Sabbath as it is commanded, and as Saturday, the Sabbath ended, Mary Magdalene, the Mary the mother of James the disciple and Salome bought spices to come and anoint Jesus, knowing that Jesus had been anointed and buried by Joseph and Nicodemus on Friday evening.
On Sunday at dawn when it was still dark, they brought the spices that they had consecrated. While they were still coming, they were wondering who would roll the stone from the entrance of the tomb for them. There was a great earthquake at that time, and the angel of the LORD came down from heaven and rolled away the stone from the tomb and then sat on the stone. His appearance was like lightning and his clothing was white as snow; and from fear of him, the guards guarding the tomb trembled and fell down like they were dead.
When the women got there as the sun was rising, they saw the stone had been removed. Mary was standing near the tomb weeping; and as she wept, she looked into the tomb and she saw two angels in shining white, one sitting at the head and the other sitting at the feet where the body of Jesus had lain. They entered the tomb, and could not find the body of Jesus. Then one of them said to her, “Woman, why do you weep?”
Mary answered, “Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him.”
They were afraid and bowed their faces to the ground. Then one of the angels said, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, He has risen! Remember that He spoke to you when you were in Galilee, saying that the Son of Man had to be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and rise again on the third day.”
They remembered His words.
Then the young man, covered with a white robe who sat on the right said, “Do not be afraid; you are seeking Jesus the Nazarene [meaning Jesus, the Victorious' in Aramaic] who was crucified. He is raised, and is not here anymore. Behold the place where He was laid!
“Go away and tell His disciples and Peter that He will be there before you in Galilee. You will see him, just as He has told you.”
Mary then turned and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not know it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, “Woman, why do you weep? And who do you want?”
Mary thought He was the gardener, so she told him, “My lord, if you are the one who has taken Him away, tell me where you have laid Him, and I will go and take Him away.”
Jesus said to her, “Mary.”
She turned around and said Him in Hebrew, “Rabbuli!” which means “My Teacher!”
Jesus said, “Do not come near me; for I have not yet ascended to my Father; but go to my brothers and tell them that I am ascending to my Father, and my God, and your God.”
Then Mary of Magdala went and brought glad tidings to the disciples, that she had seen our Lord and that He had told her these things.488
The Knights Templar, the Priory of Scion, the Masons, the Order of Mary Magdala, the Gnostics and other secret societies claim that Mary Magdalene is the Holy Grail, the mother God whom Jesus married and with whom He had a child. These organizations claim that they are the descendants of Jesus and Mary Magdalene. They have subverted the Bible to include worship of Mary Magdalene, worship of female genitals and worship of women as gods from which spring life.
This belief comes from the most ancient religions such as Baalism also pronounced Ba-Allahism in Aramaic, which may be where the word "Allah" came from. In the early history of the world, it was not known how women became pregnant. Thus it was believed that life sprang from a woman and all women were gods. Worshippers of Baal believed that Baal sent rain down on the earth to cause life to spring from the earth. So we have the phrase "Mother Earth". Baal was thought to be the Father of the earth. This is why Elijah challenged Ahab in 1Kings 18 to pray to Baal to send fire down to the earth as God sends down fire; then Baal failed and God withheld rain from Ahab and the worshippers of Baal in 1Kings 17.
These secret societies say Jesus was an ordinary human, not the Son of God, although a direct descendant of Solomon. Although there is no evidence of it, they claim Mary Magdalene was a member of the Davidic bloodline as a descendant of Benjamin, even though David was not from the tribe of Benjamin.
These people exist in every level of government, business, news media, judicial and every other influential office. In business, they are believed to secretly arrange to award themselves contracts to the exclusion of more qualified competitors. Their ceremonies are said to be sexual orgies. Their secrets are hidden in literature, architecture and art. They love the art of Georgia O'Keefe, who painted flowers, a ram's head and a bull's head to resemble the female sex organ. It is these people that Peter describes in minute detail in 2nd Peter 2. I urge you to read it. These people are also Satan worshippers, which is the same as Baal.
Are their Biblical theories sound? There is absolutely no evidence whatever that Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married and had a child. Their only basis for this is a passage in the Gospel of Philip, in which Philip relates,". . . the companion of the Savior is Mary Magdalene." If Jesus is the Savior, how does that make Jesus an ordinary man? Philip goes on to say, "Christ loved her more than all the disciples, and used to kiss her on the mouth. The rest of the disciples were offended . . . they said to him, 'Why do you love her more than all of us?' The Savior answered and said to them, 'Why do I not love you as I love her? When a blind man and one who sees are both together in darkness, they are no different from one another. When the light comes, then he who sees will see the light, and he who is blind will remain in darkness.' Mary Magdalene loved Jesus more than the disciples loved Him.
Is this proof that Jesus married Mary Magdalene and Jesus had a child? Suppose for a moment that Jesus did kiss Mary Magdalene on the mouth. Surely Mary Magdalene loved Jesus more than did the disciples, as we know from the scriptures. Jesus had cast seven demons out of her (Luke 8:2-3). She went to Jesus' grave to apply spices and mourn over His crucifixion. The disciples hid. She may have been the one who washed His feet with tears and dried them with her hair (Luke 7:45 – 50), although the Gospels do not say it was her. She was not the Mary who anointed his feet with perfume and wiped them with her hair (John 11:2, 12:3). That Mary was the sister of Lazarus. Jesus loves all who believe in Him. His love is immeasurably more than we are capable of loving. How many of you have kissed your mother and your father on the lips? How many have kissed your children and your grandchildren on the lips? Were those sexual encounters, or were they simply expressions of your unselfish love for them? See Acts 20:36 – 38; Proverbs 24:25, 26; Romans 16:16; 1Corinthians 16:20; 2Corinthians 13:12; 1Thessallonians 5:26 and 1Peter 5:14.
When Jesus comes, He will come as a groom for His bride, the church. Those who have "oil" in their lamps", those who are filled with the Holy Spirit and who's "lamps are lit", those who walk in the light can go with Jesus to the wedding feast (Matthew 25:1 – 12). Do you love Jesus as a good friend or brother like Peter did (John 21:15 – 17), or do you truly love Him with all your heart and mind and soul? Apparently Mary Magdalene was ready to die and go to Heaven for Jesus, but Jesus' disciples had not yet reached that point in their lives, having hidden themselves during the crucifixion.
The agnostics claim that the eighty or so writings that were excluded from the New Testament by the Nicene Council depicted Jesus as an ordinary human. In reality, the writings of Thomas, James, Philip, Clement, Barnabas and other followers of Jesus vary little from the four gospels. They mostly spoke of Jesus as the Savior and the Son of God whom they worshipped.
Not even the Gospel of Mary Magdalene herself, found at Nag Hammadi in 1945 gives the slightest indication that Mary Magdalene was married to Jesus and bore his child. She describes Him only as 'The Savior'. Again, the Savior is not an ordinary man, but the Son of a virgin and the Holy Spirit, the Messiah, Immanuel, God with Us. There is absolutely no written history anywhere that Mary Magdalene was married to Jesus. This is clear evidence that such allegations are not true.

“I'll Be Back”
Mary of Magdala then ran to find Simon Peter and the other disciple whom Jesus loved [John]. She told them, “They have taken our Lord out of the tomb and I don’t know where to find Him.”
Simon and John ran to the tomb, but John outran Simon and came to the tomb first. He looked in and saw the linen clothes lying there, but did not enter.
Since early Hebrew history even until today, when the master of a house ate, his servant stood outside the door and watched. The table would be set with a napkin neatly folded beside the plate, and when the master finished eating, he would crumple up the napkin and leave it beside his plate. However, if the master was not finished eating and was temporarily leaving, only to return later and finish, he would neatly fold the napkin and leave it beside his plate. By this the servant knew that his master was coming back, so the servant would not clear the table.
When Simon came, he entered the tomb; and he saw the shroud that Jesus was wrapped in collapsed and lying on the slab where Jesus had been laid. But as was the custom, a napkin had been bound around Jesus’ head. This napkin was neatly folded and put in a place by itself. The folded napkin was a message to all, “I’ll be back!”
Then John entered the tomb and he saw and believed; but they did not yet understand from the scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead. So the disciples went away again to their lodging place to tell all these things to the other disciples.
As they were going, Jesus accosted them and told them, “Peace be unto you.”
They laid hold of His feet and hugged Him and worshipped Him. Then Jesus told them, "Do not be afraid, but go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee and they will see me there."
Mary of Magdala, Joanna and Mary the mother of James, and the others who were with them, told all these things to the apostles. Their words seemed to them to be delusions, and they did not believe them.489
Note that Jesus called His disciples His brothers for the first time! When we know that Jesus Christ is God’s only son (John 3:16), God adopts us into the family of God as His children. Jesus becomes our elder brother. We are God’s adopted children and the Holy Spirit is our adopted mother!
